Frequently Asked Questions
What is ABA therapy? Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children develop important skills such as communication, social interaction, daily living skills, and positive behaviors. ABA uses structured teaching and reinforcement to help children learn and grow in meaningful ways.
Do you accept insurance? CHAPL Behavioral Therapy works with several insurance providers. Our team will assist families with insurance verification and help explain coverage and benefits before services begin.
How do I get started with services? Getting started is simple. You can contact our team through our website, phone, or email. We will guide you through the intake process, verify insurance benefits, and schedule an initial assessment.
Who can receive services at Chapl Behavioral Therapy? We provide services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs. Our programs are designed to support children at various developmental levels.
How many hours of therapy will my child receive? While we may have an idea on how many hours of service is needed due the communication we will have with the parent, the number of therapy hours varies depending on each child’s needs and the recommendations made following the assessment process.
How long does ABA therapy last? The length of therapy varies for each child depending on their goals, progress, and individual needs. Our team continually monitors progress and adjusts services as appropriate.
What does the assessment process look like? A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct a comprehensive assessment to evaluate your child’s strengths, needs, and skill levels. Based on the results, we develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your child.
Will parents be involved in therapy? Yes. Parent involvement is an important part of successful therapy. We work closely with families to provide guidance, support, and strategies that can be used at home.
